Advanced Window Coverings extends the warranty on products and services to the original buyer.  The warranty is valid only for products owned by the original purchaser and installed in the original installed location. Warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s specific terms. Warranty information will be provided at the completion of the installation.

 

What is covered

• Operating mechanisms (other than motors and remote controls) and components are covered for the lifetime of the product. Motors and controls are covered for 5 years.

• Cords and ladders are covered for 5 years.

• Manufacturing defects and shipping damage must be reported within 30 days.

 

Exclusions

• Product failure due to abuse, misuse, damage from pets or insects.

• Exposure to excess heat or moisture.

• Improper installation.

• Normal variations in color, grain or texture of natural products, slight warping of wood products and natural color changes to materials that take place over time.

• Transportation costs to and from the repair facility.

• Costs associated with product removal and re-installation.

 

Resolution of Warranty Issues

Warranty service will be at Advanced Window Covering Associates, LLC’s sole discretion to determine if the product can be repaired or needs to be replaced. If there are multiple products in a particular space, Advanced Window Covering Associates, LLC’s responsibility will be to repair or replace only the defective product. We will make every effort to match the original products should a remake become necessary. If not, we will match the product as closely as possible.

 

Professional Installation Warranty

Advanced Window Covering Associates, LLC warrants the installation services to be free from defect for up to 1 year. During this period, we will visit your home and attempt to perform any service required under the specific warranty terms at no additional charge for 1 year from date of purchase. If for any reason the product needs to be removed from the home to facilitate the repairs, we will re-install the product at no charge. In the event the service falls outside of the 1 year period, it will be the responsibility of the customer to transport the product to The installation warranty extends to the original buyer and is non transferrable.

 

There are no warranties that extend beyond this express written warranty. Advanced Window Covering Associates, LLC shall have no liability whatsoever for lost profits or incidental, punitive or consequential damages.

 

Some states do not allow for the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to everyone. This warranty gives you specific legal rights including other rights which vary from state to state.

Maintenance Support Agreement:

 

We also offer maintenance agreements to cover the periodic inspection and basic maintenance of products we sell. Costs of the Support Agreement depend on the type of product being covered. This includes hardware inspection, re-secure brackets, re-adjustments, battery replacement where needed. We may be able to offer a service plan for your existing window treatments to ensure they function as they should.
